About RCGD X
Eco-collaborations are the name of the game! RCGD X represents collaborations with brands who, like us, put sustainability at the core of everything they do and brands who want to make a positive impact on the world through the garments they produce. Our intention is to highlight the importance of consuming more conscious fashion, and partnering with other incredible eco-brands truly creates a tangible way to keep pushing our message forward. By teaming up with aligned brands we believe we can maximise our impact and reach wider and more diverse audiences. To date we are proud to have collaborated with AMUR and Reformation.

Notable fabrics include GOTS certified organic cotton, regenerated duchess satin made from New Life, a yarn spun from recycled post-consumer bottles, Asahi Kasai cupro, a Japanese fiber that is made from cotton linter which is waste from cotton production and a Viscose Linen blend, responsibly sourced and FSC certified.
Red Carpet Green Dress X Reformation (2015)
Titled No Red Carpet Needed, the collection was comprised of six dresses loosely inspired by previous Oscar gowns from the campaign. The six day-to-night silhouettes came in a range of colors such as burgundy, black, brown, light pink, and navy. Each dress was cut and sewn at Reformation’s renewably powered factory in downtown Los Angeles, where a variety of planet-preferable fabrics are employed. Among them: a Bluesign-certified Tencel-spandex blend, made using a closed-loop system, and three variations of formaldehyde-free viscose derived from sustainably managed forests. The collection was made available in Reformation’s Los Angeles and New York City boutiques, as well as the online store at www.thereformation.com. We look forward to more collaborations like this.
